Landfill Reduction & Recycling was started by Jason Salisbury. The company incorporated in 2011 and began processing construction material in January 2012. Since 2012 the company has continued to grow, expanding the amount of construction material processed and expanding its recycled markets into higher quality end products. In 2016, the company opened a second facility located at the Dane County Landfill as a public/private partnership with the Dane County Solid Waste Division. In the partnership, Landfill Reduction is a long term processor and marketer of end products of the construction materials collected by Dane County.
