About this Location

Scooters Refuse Service is located at 1185 N Raymond Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49014.

"It's true, I come from a long-line of garbage men." My grandfather, Alex Wey, started it all back in the early 50s. Raising four boys and four girls in the family business, the Weys began a tradition of hard work and entrepreneurship. All of his sons, Dale, Paul, Doug, and Mike, along with son-in-law Bill Reed, followed in his footsteps and each started their own companies. My father Doug purchased his first garbage truck when I was 6 years old. I worked my way up through the company and eventually became a partner. My wife Karen and I purchased Scooter's in June of 2008. Our son Brad works along with us and is proud to be the 4th generation of this family business. We will continue the legacy of excellent service with fair prices that all started with my grandfather over 60 years ago.
