River Metals Recycling, LLC (RMR) is a wholly owned venture of Cincinnati-based, The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ), one of the USA’s largest scrap metal companies. RMR was formed in 1998 by combining the Klempner Brothers yard, River City Baling, and River City Shredding (all in Louisville, KY) with DJJ’s Henderson, KY and Newport, KY yards. Today, they operate 19 recycling facilities in 5 states with a focused presence in the Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio regions.
