The Ridge Landfill is owned and operated by Waste Connections of Canada (Waste Connections) and located near the community of Blenheim, Ontario. The landfill receives non-hazardous industrial, commercial and institutional waste from across the province as well as residential waste from local municipalities.
Following the merger of Progressive Waste Solutions (PWS) with Waste Connections in June 2016, PWS changed its name to Waste Connections of Canada. We want to assure you that as we unite under the Waste Connections banner, we will remain the same, dependable partner committed to being a good neighbour and a responsible corporate citizen.
Waste Connections of Canada employs 23 people at the landfill and an additional 40 employees who live in surrounding communities and who work in collection operations in the Municipality of Chatham Kent.
Waste Connections is a leading full-service, vertically integrated waste management company, providing non-hazardous solid waste collection, recycling and landfill disposal services to commercial, industrial, municipal and residential customers.
