I opened a landscape business for my wife early in our marriage as she wanted to mow grass. After purchasing $15,000 in equipment, she quit 2 months into the summer due to the heat. I was in the mortgage business as an originator for mortgage loans, but I started in the evenings and on the weekend. Before to long I had more landscaping jobs then mortgages. We of course had equipment to remove everything, so when people had us in the yard, we remove their junk and made the yard pretty.
