Founded in 1980 and based in Norwell, Massachusetts, it runs more than 100 waste disposal facilities in the United States, including incinerators, hazardous waste landfills, wastewater treatment plants and solvent and used oil recycling facilities. Its Safety-Kleen subsidiary is North America's largest re-refiner of used oil.
