Overview

The Ryley facility is a hazardous waste transfer station as well as a secure landfill located in east central Alberta, a western Canadian province. This facility is permitted to accept all hazardous wastes with the exception of explosives, radioactive wastes and infectious wastes. The facility is also permitted to solidify and stabilize waste. Although the Ryley facility is prohibited by permit from importing hazardous waste for landfill disposal, it can import non- hazardous waste for landfill disposal. Typical Customers: R&D facilities, oil companies, chemical producers, municipalities, provincial and federal government departments, institutional laboratories and other heavy manufacturers.
