Overview

Rolling Hills Landfill has been in operation since the mid 1960’s and currently accepts C&D and non-hazardous industrial waste. Rolling Hills is applying for an expansion to accept MSW and currently accepts less than 100 tons per day of C&D and industrial waste with no daily maximum regulated by permit. Methane from the site is flared and leachate is trucked to a treatment plant. Rolling Hills Landfill front-loaded its’ host payments to Monticello Township and Wright County so no payments are due for the remainder of the site life which is 1 year. This facility is permitted to accept waste from all counties in Minnesota and surrounding states and accepts waste from Advanced Disposal subsidiaries and third party companies.
